Day01 Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi, after clearing the Immigrations /Customs Formalities, met/transferred by our representative & transfer to the Hotel.

Day02 Delhi-Agra

Morning, we proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Jama Masjid, drive past the Red Fort built by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Drive through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk & lastly visit Raj Ghat, the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon, tour of new Delhi visiting the Qutab Minar Humanyun's tomb & lastly drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate & other important government buildings. Late afternoon, drive to Agra (205 kms/5 hrs approx). Arrive Agra and transfer to the hotel.

Day03 Agra-Bandhavgarh

After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Agra visiting the world famous Taj Mahal, the Agra fort & It mud-ud-daulah. Late evening- transfer to the railway station to board overnight train to Umaria. OVERNIGHT IN THE TRAIN.

Day04 Arrive Umaria-Bandhavgarh

Morning, Arrive at Umaria station and drive to Bandhavgarh national park. Bandhavgarh National Park is located in Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh was declared as a national park in 1968 when the Maharaja of Rewa handed over the area to the government for it's formation. Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km and its topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Bandhavgarh National Park is also known for the white tiger country and has the highest tiger population density all over India. Arrive Bandhavgarh and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 05 Bandhavgarh

Early morning, Jeep safari at the national park for wildlife viewing. Day at leisure. Evening, another jeep safari for wildlife viewing.

Day 06 Bandavgarh-Khajuraho

After breakfast drive to Bandavgarh (187 kms/ 6 hrs approximately). Khajuraho temples were constructed between 950 and 1050 A.D. during the reign of Chandel Empire. These temples are considered the "high point" of Indian architectural genius in the medieval period. Originally there were 85 temples, of which only 22 still exist. It was only in this century, that they were rediscovered, restored and granted the recognition that they justly deserve. The murals depict the life and times of the Chandelas, and celebrate the erotic state of being. Arrive Khajuraho and transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon, half day sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples.

Day07 Khajuraho-Varanasi

Morning, after a leisurely breakfast transfer to the airport to board flight to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and drive to the hotel enroute visit Sarnath. After the Buddha attained enlightenment in Bodhgaya he came to sarnath. Here in the Deer Park, he delivered his first sermon, or in religious language. On the day before his death Buddha included Sarnath along with Lumbini, Bodhgaya and Kushinagar as the four places he thought to be sacred to his followers. Further drive to the city and check in at the hotel.

Day08 Varanasi

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a half day sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting the ghats, temples and the famous Banaras Hindu University. Evening enjoy a rickshaw ride in the downtown area and then head to the Ghats of river Ganges for a boat ride and witness the Ganga Aarti.

Day9 Varanasi-Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and at a convenient time transfer to the airport to board onward flight back home.
